In
2008 the club presented its first Paul Harris Fellow to a community volunteer
and leader. Joseph Faulkner, the vision and inspiration behind the Community
Volunteers in Medicine was chosen to be the honoree.
In 2009 the club presented a Paul Harris Fellow to Dr. Patricia Best,
Superintendent of the State College Schools, one of the nation's highly
recognized and successful school systems.
